Mike Peakman - Lead Climber 
Communications Software Engineer, DERA Malvern.

Responsible for pre-expedition fitness and climbing training.

15 years climbing experience in Britain and on the continent. Summits include Mont Blanc and the Matterhorn.  Recently climbed Sella, Piz Boe and Vajolet Towers in the Dolomites.

Alex Freeborn - Lead Climber 
Army Major, Military Advisor Weapons Systems Sector, DERA Farnborough.

18 years summer and winter mountaineering experience in the UK, Alps, Himalayas, Corsica GR20, Dolomites and Picos de Europa.  Ski mountaineering experience in the Austrian and German Alps.  Highest altitude 6000m in the Himalayas.

Richard Baker - Climber 
Operations Manager for Global On-site Services Group (Europe, Middle East and Africa), Cisco Systems.

Expedition treasurer and responsible for fund raising.

6 years with the TA, doing top rope and abseiling work. 5 weeks in Nepal leading an expedition to 23,500 feet.

Paul Baller - Climber
Engineer for Unmanned Ground Vehicles for Reconnaissance, Land Systems, DERA Chertsey.

Responsible for fund raising.

Eight years rock climbing experience in England, Scotland, France, Spain, Canada and New Zealand.

Keith Casson - Climber

Responsible for mapping and meterology.

7 years climbing experience including three summer seasons in the European Alps.

Responsible for website, travel and permits.

Trekking experience in Annapurna region, Nepal reaching 5,400 metres and in Peru. UK experience mainly in the Lake District.

12 years rock climbing and mountaineering experience in the UK, the French Alps and Norway.  Mountain walking experience in Canada and Switzerland.

Trekking experience in the Nepal Himalaya, Picos de Europa and Scotland.

Derek Walker - Climber

Trekking experience in the French Alps and Everest Base Camp and general Khumbu area, Nepal.

Linda Holtby - Interpreter/Comms Officer

15 years hill walking experience in the UK, the Pyrennees and some Alpine experience including Lagginhorn.

Brian Pancott - Base Camp Manager

Rock Climbing Instructor with 30 years climbing experience, including Mt Kenya '97, Spitzbergen expedition '99, the Alps, the Isle of Skye, the Dolomites, Andorra, and Israel.  Highest altitude 5,200 metres.

Jeremy Windsor - Expedition Doctor
Northern General Hospital, Sheffield.

Experience as doctor on expeditions to Mt Kenya, Mt Kilimanjaro and the Alps.
